Since our founding in 2010, we have always believed that the educational experience should embody the traits that make a Montessori program exceptional: student engagement, the presentation of learning as a lifelong process and development tool, and fostering confidence in critical thinking and problem solving.
We are a CCMA Accredited School, and our two campuses - located in Beddington and Royal Oak - are designed with our students in mind. Both campuses have fully equipped Montessori Casa materials and follow the required guidelines.
We offer morning and afternoon programs for children 2.5 to 6 years old.
Dr. Montessori recognized the value of stimulating students in ways that were considered atypical at the time. Her method influenced by key educational theorists such as Rousseau, Itard & Seguin, and Frobel, would go on to inspire a new breed of educators and child psychologists (such as Jean Piaget)
The Montessori Method engages children through a variety of effective mechanisms:
We take our role as educators seriously, and it is with great care and humility that we guide our students. We motivate students to apply their knowledge, and to learn from new ideas and experiences.
Our mixed-age classes, with children from 2.5 to 6 years old, encourages self motivation, cooperation and collaboration. It also allows for leadership and mentorship throughout the life cycle of the program.
Young children possess a creative mind that we as adults often forget to appreciate. A young mind can form new thought processes and change behaviours very quickly, and it’s because of this quality that children thrive under Montessori.
